Interlude A

Report from Training Laboratory 5 under Doctor Director Digital Diplomat Domain 5, Dieti Durante.

Dear esteemed investors in our R&D endeavors, progress on three patients is optimal, and each has become accustomed to the rules of the competition and their own C.T.D. You’ll each have a personalized report available to your entry sent right after this message is received.

But to summarize, we’re halfway through the training period and each candidate is optimally prepared for the R.O.C

Message 1- For CEO number 5, Joni (full name Redacted).

It was awfully lucky for me that patient Marcos Zin came already linked to their C.T.D. The two passed our field and combat tests with top marks, which is something I should have expected for someone raised in that family. I might imagine it, but the drone appears a bit too overprotective of him, and doesn’t respond to any of our inquiries, but since it’s a Zin family property, I won’t pry too much into it.

He has been fully informed of his role as Monitor as well, as the Board has instructed me to do and the boy has accepted it without any issues. He seems…is prepared.

Message 2- For CEO number 8, Eline (full name Redacted)

Nothing special to report- as we expected, Vivar has taken full control over their dynamic and will be the lead on the field. Your information on them was on point, so wherever you got it from it was worth the pay.

Patient 8 also appeared somewhat trained in E.Ps (enhancements and prosthetics), and managed to improve Vivar’s movement and reaction by 10% by quickly figuring out the location of rusty parts in his joints. Their chances of passing round 7 has increased by …eh, 3 to 4%?

They are steadily improving.

Message 3- For CEO number 6, Priya (full name Redacted)

The patient and C.T.D discovered that it’s better if the two work separate in the field and every other problem they encounter. Issues appear to be of communication; participant Angie has tried several times to communicate with her C.T.D, but no rapport has built between the two.

Luckily the patient’s strengths match that of her C.T.D, so in case of the drone’s destruction in the field, Angie could by a combination of her abilities and luck make it to…round 4 or 3.

Also, thank you for your generous gift to our laboratory. It was exactly what we needed to further our research into neural transferal between organic and synthetic bases. In order to show our appreciation, we did as you asked for and didn’t intervene in the socialization between the patients and didn’t report to the other CEOs of it.

Patients Angie, Siete and Marcos have been sharing their two daily meals at the time, which helped them bond over the course of this week and a half.

This ends the report of D5 of Laboratory 5.

Best regards
